Get started with Vektordiagram

Open Vektordiagram. The app’s buttons are in Danish; the labels below match what you will see.

Draw a vector

1. Select Vektor (Vector) in the toolbar, or press P.
2. Drag from the vector’s starting point to its endpoint. A single click does not draw a vector.
3. Select Vælg (Select), or press V, then click the vector to select it.

Adjust measurements and position

Drag an endpoint to change the vector’s length and direction. Drag the vector itself to move it without changing its measurements. In the panel on the right, you can enter its starting point, length, and angle directly. Angles increase counterclockwise from the selected reference; 0° points right.

If the tip snaps to a point or circle, turn off Punkter og cirkler (Points and circles) under Fastgør (Snapping). Hold Ctrl (Cmd on Mac) while dragging to temporarily disable snapping.

Save your diagram

The diagram is saved continuously in the browser on the same computer. Choose Gem fil (Save file) to download a .json copy you can open elsewhere using Åbn fil (Open file). Choose Gem SVG to insert the figure into a document; the SVG is not an editable Vektordiagram project file.
